IPC Unit: "Green Fingers" and UNESCO International Day
The primary school pupils had an exciting journey this term. It was packed with lots of fun activities. Some of our highlights for the term were: IPC entry and exit points, our National Day celebration and the UNESCO International Day. The IPC theme for the term was “Green Fingers”, where learners had an exciting time exploring the world of plants. The theme provided an insight into the role and importance of plants with the aim to nurture a love and appreciation for plants As part of our activities, learners talked about the health benefits of plants, how the climate affects the distribution of plants around the world, they also experienced the thrill of processing plant products like coconut and maize: it was an eye opening and amazing exploration for the learners. The theme for the UNESCO International Day was the “Importance of the online space for access to Information.”As part of the day’s event, learners explored the history of communication and how they can access information from the internet through some healthy and safe platforms. Our National Day Celebration was beautiful and colorful as learners showcased their cultural heritage. Here at Crestforth, we are committed to the holistic development of learners through enjoyable academic, personal and international learning that prepares them for opportunities and challenges now and in the future.
